One of the trends we've seen a lot of in the 2017-2018 fashion shows is sequin. I am not a huge fan of glittery outfits, but I've fallen in love with this look watching models rock it on the runways.
Buying a pair of jeans is one of the hardest shopping tasks, at least for me. It's either I love the style but not the fit, or vice versa. When it comes to denim, style, fit, and durability are very important as they get a lot of wear and tear.
Harem Pants and White shoes are definitely statement pieces that can turn an outfit into one that is super stylish or super disastrous. They are not the easiest items to pull off and so I am sharing with you a few tips I follow when going for either look.
There are two schools when it comes to accessorizing; "Less is more" and "Less is a bore". The first phrase adopted by the minimalist architect Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe. The second one by the American architect Robert Venturi of the early twentieth century.
I was reading an article the other day about the health benefits of dressing comfortably and avoiding tight clothes. It does not only help to improve blood circulation, but also aids in digestion, alleviate stress, and gives you a sense of freedom. The writer took it one step farther as she visited clothing optional resorts and interviewed nudists.
Every now and then I like to shoot with my girls. It gives us some fun time to spend together celebrating our friendship and making memories along the way. We took to the streets of our beautiful downtown Birmingham in a pink palette. We wanted a bride maid theme with no wedding;)
Accessories are what complete the look and so it's very important to choose wisely and to invest in the right pieces. I was sent recently a few items from Chloe + Isabel to review and write about. I get asked to write about a lot of different accessory brands, but I don't do unless I really love the quality. I won't recommend something I won't wear.

There is something uniquely satisfying about earth tones. They have a tantalizing effect that is grounding and serene. I look at nature, and I get inspired of how to come up with a certain color palette whether be it for an outfit and or a space I am designing.
The more we connect with nature the happier we are, and the farther we stay away from nature the sadder we become. No matter how what life throws at us to throw us off balance, we can regain it back by connecting with Mother Earth.
