I am over a lot of things this season; disappointments from close people, injustices in my small world and the world outside, unfairness of life, the weather. I am over trying to please others, trying to be perfect, trying to justify myself. I am over guilting myself for indulging in my favorite foods, for allowing my self to be lazy at times, for not attending to every goal I set for myself. The list goes on and on, but what I'm not ready to get over are my "over the knee" boots :)
This is a trend I added to my winter wardrobe a few years ago and can't let go off. They are my way to stay warm in the lovely michigan winter, yet look elegant and put together. Since I went through quite a few physical injuries, I can't enjoy my high heels for I can't afford another fall. Stuart Weitzman Classic over the knee flat boots are the perfect way to keep me safe. Their rubber sole provide the traction I need for icy walkways and they look so beautiful. I went for a tan color last year thinking I will get sick of it soon. I was so wrong, I love how this color compliments so many outfits I have. here is an example..
