If you've been following my blog you can see how I repeat the same items, but wear them differently. I still do every now and then break the rule and buy pieces that I know I am not going to wear much, but after I do I regret it big time.
In my two previous posts, Me And The Beach Part I-II, I talk about the cleansing experience I went through and how little we need to be happy and look our best. Of course we can't kill our urge (as women) to shop, but we can definitely train ourselves to be smarter about our choices.
The latest item I got and I am so excited about is this poncho skirt. When you look at a piece and you don't hesitate about it, then it means this is it. The minute I saw it I loved the color, the shape, the material, and the pattern. I bought it without trying it on.
Gray and white are perfect for the summer time as they can either be worn alone for a clean fresh look or they provide you with a neutral background to add your favorite colors to it. Since pastels are so in, I went for a touch of soft pink and a touch of baby blue.
In this post I am wearing it as a skirt, but watch out for it in the coming posts; I will be wearing it as a poncho. I am so excited about this multi use purchase (it's a great return on my little investment;) Because of the poncho style it gives it an uneven hemline when worn as a skirt, which is so in this season.
